Rod Capper is New Zealand's truly world-class luthier, making classical and flamenco guitars. His guitars are very powerful, suitable for concert halls. Rod has been able to achieve power, projection and loudness in his guitars without sacrificing tonal qualities. His guitars provide you with a wide dynamic and tonal palette as good as, if not better, than other world-class concert guitars. Other qualities that he seeks and have managed to achieve in his guitars are projection, clear note separation, even balance over the complete range, good sustain, accurate intonation and ease of playing. New Zealand's foremost classical guitarist Bruce Paine these days prefers Capper's guitars for recording and concertizing. And that's over the Simon Marty and other guitars. In his latest album "Second Recital for Guitar", Bruce uses two Rod Capper guitars. You can listen to him at

Member's Announcement

Dianova is non-profit organization which supports disadvantaged families, develops drug awareness programs, but is mostly committed to helping drug abusers in a residential drug treatment program. I teach a music course at this program and was actually a resident myself for ten months. What we need is an acoustic and/or electric guitar. This would provide a more effective means to teach groups of people. I've been looking all over the web for programs that might help us. If you can help or provide suggestions, it would be welcomed. For more information concerning Dianova or the music program, please contact me by:
